UPDATE! Conner just soloed!!! Congratulations on your first flight alone! It’s always more
peaceful when that jabbering instructor gets out 😉
He’s a little camera shy but I finally got him. Conner has been close to aviation (“friends in
low places” as the saying goes) for a long time and finally jumped in with both feet. He’s
about to solo if the weather would just cooperate. I’ll get a better shot when he least expects
it!

A typical lesson (prior to solo) involves approximately 1 hour of ground school going over the planned flight, flying for approximately 1 hour and approximately 1/2 hour ground discussing the flight and planning the next lesson. After soloing, the lessons will focus on cross-country planning and flying and the lessons will be longer (more ground school and longer flights).
